Not every one of the 940+ species of tarantulas has its own care sheet. But many of them have dozens of care sheets with all sorts of conflicting guidelines and ridiculous recommendations.

And, neither do each of those 940+ species actually NEED their own care sheet.

I suggest you do the following:

1> Read Care Sheets: The Mothers of all Myths! .

2> Look at other closely related species. Generally, all the members of the same genus (in this case Chilobrachys) can tolerate the same or very similar conditions.

3> Go to the Spiders Calgary website and start reading.

Hope this helps. Best of luck.

By all means. As the adage goes: "Call me anything you want as long as you don't forget to call me for supper!"

I've been traveling, and the police tend to get quite hypertensive when they see me driving a 10 tonne, 11 meter motorhome down the highway at 105 kph with a laptop propped between me and the steering wheel! :woohoo:

No imagination, I guess.

Houston, Texas - Hanging out for a week.

Along the Gulf of Mexico coast to Homosassa Springs, Florida - view the manatees, Florida alligators.

Tampa, Florida - Drop a friend off at the airport.

Back to Fort Walton Beach, Florida to attend a meeting and give a speech at a meeting of the Florida Panhandle Invertebrate Club .

Back down to Naples, Florida to visit with Rick Blauman and compare notes on tarantulas.

Across the State to visit Cape Canaveral and the Kennedy Space Center.

Return to central Michigan - Visit 92 year old mother in a nursing home. Enjoy ice age conditions! (Phooey!)

Currently preparing for the cross continental trip back to Calgary.

15,300 km so far. Probably exceeding 19,000 km by the time I get back to Calgary. I'm now sleeping in the driving position.

I need a vacation!
