Isopods??? was created by RippeR
I happened to run into some discussions on these little creepy crawlies while googling some stuff on T's. And happen to read that some T keepers (Americans...)
keep these in their T's enclosures ( Captive bred of course ), aparantly they eat the remains of missed food that was given to the T's and help keeping mites away. Anybody got info on this.

Yes, get them, put them, keep them. Is all advice I have.

Most people are like clouds. The sun comes out when they f*ck off...

May I ask then, WHY HAVE I NEVER SEEN ANYTHING ABOUT THESE LITTLE INSECT VACUUM CLEANERS AROUND ANY SOUTH AFRICAN T SITE BEFORE OR IS IT JUST ME. IF THEY ARE THIS GREAT WHY, WHY, WHY, HAVEN'T I HEARD OF THEM BEFORE. I'm going to look for some as soon as I can. And then I'm going to keep them and breed them ( hopefully ) and put some with my T's and crickets.

Cause we lost all the other threads on the old site wich had plenty about them .All the old members know about this .

So you are the first on to bring it up agian

But yes find some and add them into your cages .
and you will see the will clean up all left over crickets and poo .

Your Ts will eat them so have plenty to stock up with.

they dont breed like flies so bear this in mind they do take some time to bread .

I had two main tanks that had Isopods in and the tanks wore kept so clean that I never had to do mantaince in them .

; :P )
