Scorpions was created by Deon
Was out spider hunting again today. Disturbed veld and rehabilitated mining veld near quarry. Grass, rocks and Pine trees. Found no spiders, but these two species of Scorpions, under rocks in burrows. The little red one was missing two left rear legs and the other big and small ones were huddled together in the same burrow. Took photo's and released them.

I would like to add them to the virtual museum if they can be positively identified.

HI Deon,

Just a head up on the virtual museum - you do not need to identify them to upload that is the whole point. You can say what you think it is but then it will be verified by the experts and you will see the identification. So just post them anyway :)

Thanks Dimitri, have experienced that, but I like to get it right too. Think the big one(two) is Opistophthalmus pugnax and the little red one leaning towards Uroplectes triangulifer.

These Scorps were ID'ed by Ruan Lambrechts and Astri Leroy. Thanks guys.
