A.Avic Webing question was created by JoNeS
My Avic has a tendency to make a web in the lid of it's tub.

I have provided it with plastic leaves, bark and a branch which it only uses slightly. Most of the webbing goes on the lid. It has always spent most of it's time hanging upside down since I've had it.:silly:

Is there a way I can prevent it from webbing on the lid as it is difficult to feed or mist without destroying the web?

Yes. Put it in a cage made for arboreal tarantulas:

Lastly, if you perform a search using the Search Forum utility at the top of this page, or just about any other forum, using the keywords arboreal cage you should eventually find a bunch of other ideas for arboreal cages. In nearly all cases, the idea is to allow the tarantula to build its nest towards the top (It's what they do!) and arrange for getting into the cage for feeding, house keeping, and such through one side or the bottom.

I hope this helps. Best of luck.

Enjoy your little 8-legged buddy!
