Hi all

I've got a +-2cm B. vagans as my first T. I had it for 2 weeks now and it's been eating well (too well as it got a bit fat), the terrarium is at +-75% humidity and 24 - 28 celcius. 3 days ago it went into its burrow and closed it off. It hasn't come out yet so I'm stressing a bit. Is it molting? or sick? Should I just leave it alone or check on it?

Hi Neurik

Welcome to the forum. The one thing that you will learn in this hobby is PATIENCE!!!! Your B. vagans is probably in pre-moult and when it goes in its hide and closes it up he is trying to tell you that he needs some time alone for the process.

You don't need to worry. You will see in a few days to a week you will have a T that is bigger than before.

Feel free to read on the Forum as there is allot of threads on people concerned about there first T going into hiding.

Have a good weekend and keep us posted on your T.
