Any specific reason you want to keep them together?

It was just a temporary idea, until we move to our new offices and I have lots of space to set up a nice spider corner.

I understand the space issue, but how much space does two 1cm slings take up? I have a feeling the two will temporarily live together, until one eats the other. I suggest keeping them in two separate tubs until you have to rehouse them, by then you might be in your new office.

By the way, there is no such thing as a stupid question, it only becomes stupid if you ask it twice. As Uncle Stan always says, "It's easier to deal with a "stupid" question than with a stupid mistake...

Yes I agree they are still tiny.

I feel bad for the crickets, imagine how i'm going to feel when the one eats the other!

Thanks.

Tarantulas are very unpredictable as a rule. Some docile species can be aggressive, some aggressive species docile. The same is true when it comes to co habitation or communal living. NOTHING is cast in stone, BUT, years of experience suggests that some must rather not be kept in close proximity.

I believe that when spiderlings hatch in the wild, they do live in close proximity, for a while at least. The "aggression" and/or canabalistic tendencies and/or territorial behavior manifests as they grow. It might be safe to keep two or two hundred second instar slings in one container, but as they grow, so does the appetite for siblings.

I for one will never say NEVER, it is just not advised...

PS: What the hell happened to the horse???
