Did you come past the tarantulas.co.za stand today? I don't think Panama wants anymore vagans slings :P

Got that right!
I think another aspect that needs to be considered (besides breeding methods) is market saturation.
T-rad and I had a vagans sack not too long ago and we literally could not give them away. The effort of incubating, tubbing and feeding up to 500+ slings that are unsellable is a REAL pain in the a$$. I know that curt has a VERY gravid female and there is another vagans sack that was reported yesterday I think.
The experience would definitely do you well tho... But be prepared...

Identifying from a pic like that is always very risky! I would suggest that the physical spider be seen by someone who really knows their T's and start from there..... also I really wouldn't be attempting a breeding without being 100% sure.

You can take an Aphonopelma to crickets but you can't make it eat!

i'm looking at the pics on tim's site and comparing... must say, it does look like a salmon. on the bright side, if it's confirmed as a scarlet, you have a (slightly) more valuable t, so i wouldn't take it back either way

h. gigas (4-5cm)
b. albopilosum (3-4cm)
l. parahybana (3-4cm)
P. irminia (8-9cm)

Scorps:
p. transvaalicus (3cm)
2 emperors (5cm each)

will update after the expo :-P
