How much did you pay for the T?

Sadly its not going to live to long as most of the members already stated... but I can say this, Just because it is a MM doesn't mean it will only live for a few months. I had a Grammostola rosea from a little tiny spot till the day he died. Lived for 3 years after his last molt. But must say he was looking really bad closer to the end and was heart breaking to see. Had the bugger for a good 6-7 years my very first T.

As for climbing you cant really stop him as all he wants to do is find a pomp so he will just keep walking and walking. At some point he wont be able to climb the glass at all as his tekkies will be completely warn out with zero traction. Best you can do is decrease height of the enclosure... he doesn't need it anyway.

Lately he's using the coconut hide.
I got a small water bowl in, below the fake plant. I'm keeping a eye on the water bowl just to make sure is got some water in, and keep it clean.

It ate a cricket 2 days ago. I will gave him a second one yesterday, didn't eat it. So i did remove it, but i guess he will only eat again somewhere next week.

I got in mind to find a female some time soon.

Do you know how long he's been mature for?
Did you buy him mature?
Has he made any sperm webs?

If i were you i would make him available for breeding loan (as long as he isnt too old and is still making sperm webs).
At this stage of his life he has 1 motive as Onyx mentioned - to mate and he's going to be pretty restless until he dies.

On a positive note, Grammostola are known to be very slow growers and therefore they have very long lifespans so you could still have him for a while.

I've seen a MM G. pulchripes live for well over a year. Ayal and i have a MM G. rosea thats been mature for over a year.

Unfortunately, i only brought him two weeks ago, and i don't know how long he is in its mature state.
Jip, Brought him mature.
He still creates webs, specially lately close to the coconut hide, But don't know if its actually sperm web for mating.
He also created a patch webs on the substrate, which so far as i know, this is normally a sign for molt starting process, however i don't think the patch is big enough for a molt process yet.

I agree with doing a breeding loan, hopefully it can create sufficient sperm web for mating.

I paid R450, with the enclosure & substrate & coconut hide.
