Hi All. I have recently gotten my G.Pulchripes one of those reptile enclosures that gives my T more floor space. The enclosure I am referring to is one of those that has the completely vented lid. At the moment I have a heatpad on the side of the tank (narrowest side) He's always sitting on the side and hasn't gone down since I've moved him (5 days ago). Should I rather get the large heatpad and place it on broadest side of the tank? Hope that makes sense. It's similar to the image that I've attached

Hi, Francois.

I don't think you need to worry. I keep all my T's on a set of shelves with a large heater in front if it in the room. My T's have all been glued to the front sides of their enclosures since winter started. My guess is that they stay in the part of the enclosure that's the warmest (unless it's too warm, then they will move).

As long as your T has a cooler place he can move to and the enclosure stays humid (either by misting or a water bowl), then your T should be fine.
