I read in one of the articles that some of the more intelligent Ts may appreciate basic toys like ping pong balls? My Smithii loves kicking her water dish around, and I was considering throwing in a ping pong ball to see how she reacts. Anyone have any experience with toys?

I have not used toys before, but i have read about it. But If you have to think of them in the wild they would move stones, sticks and fang fulls of soil.

Some tarantulas are known to be bull dossers that just re-landscape their cages every other day.
Would be intresting to see a spider playing with a ball, and the owner saying fetch fluffy fetch. :lol:

Going to stick a ping pong ball in with my smithi. Currently she is redecorating. Moving clumps of silk matted soil around. Lets see what happens

Valentine now moves her polystyrene ball all around the enclosure. She seems to be enjoying it, but then again, how does one tell.!?! Hehe
