As most of you know I am trying to breed my C.cyaneopubescens the following video will show an attempt at them mating. I presume insertion was made because the female has gone back into her hide and webbed up the entrance while the male has produced another sperm web. Unfortunately I was not present at the time that they mated, hence the reason I recorded the whole scenario, so I did not witness the female rubbing her spermatheca afterwards.

Nice video thank you. Chromatopelma cyaneopubescens females does not necessarily rub there epigastric furrow after mating. By the looks of it the mating was successful. Please keep in mind female Chromatopelma cyaneopubescens doesn't not take kindly to a second mating will will try make a meal of the male.
