Sorry to be a bit blunt, but your terminology is a bit off ;)

only when you have second instar slings did you breed them successfully...

So what you got was a successful mating between your pair.

All this info your asking for... should this research not have been done before you even considered breeding them?

I unfortunately have not bred H. formosus so I can't help you as such but there is a breeding report that was posted by one of the other members and can be found at:

Breeding report

If you have any further questions send a PM to the breeder, I believe he will be of more help than most other people on the forum ;)

Afternoon

The most important thing, is your humidity and temps is key for the eggs development.

After the female has dropped a egg sack, leave it with the female and then pull after a month or 28 days.

And then you open egg sack and if it was done right you should have eggs with legs or 1st instr, then you put them into a incubator for a couple more weeks till they molt into spiderlings and bobs your uncle.

So in the mean time start reading up on the the breeding reports and google incubators for tarantulas.
Post what you find out and then people can advice you in the right or wrong way.

Also can help the next person who decides to breed he's spider.
