I had a very interestic experience today that i would to share and i would also like some feedback as to how/why this happened;

I recently purchased a L. klugi female, about 18cm to pair with the mature male i have.
About 3 weeks ago the two paired successfully and several insertions were observed.
Today, when attempting to re-pair the two, i introduced the male into the females tank and the female emerged but this time something was very different. the female HAD TIBIAL SPURS!! it was a male the whole time!! :blink: :blink:

How did they pair the first time??
What do you guys think about this?

Who did you buy the 'female' from??

It happens, I have Mated a Male and "female" G. rosea some time after mating, she molted into a MM, to my surprise.

It does happen, I think the Male takes charge of and the other 'female" just gives in.

I didn't want this to be a blame or a complaint topic. I'll contact the seller myself and if I know the guy like I think I do he'll make it up to me. No need to name names.
