Yup, a bit of overkill,
I would actually like to see an experiment done and the results compared between using the simple "Stacked Humidity Tubs" route and using a "Robocop Mom".
My guess is the results would favour the stacked Humidity Tubs, but I am sure some people out there have their Mechanical Moms working down to a scientific art...
IMO, I would go the tubs route. I am a strong believer in KISS "Keep it Simple Stupid!" the less that can go wrong the better, and as such if anything goes wrong on the Mech Mom device and you don't catch it in time, your eggs are fried. No pun intended, but ya, Sunny Side Up.
