This is so awesome, I had to publish a post.
A former member of this forum, respected breeder and good friend invited us to witness the extraction of her Theraphosa apophysis egg case this afternoon.
I am happy to report that we counted 87 healthy eggs with legs and 12 still developing eggs.
The female is not an adult but has a magnificent size of about 28cm. The egg case was slightly "deflated" and very mushy inside. A good time to pull the case, because the dead eggs would probably cause devastation amongst the others. The case was pulled at 28 days.
