Bit of an update

As per panama's post these slings are really cannibalistic!

I kept on monitoring the slings and to my horror saw on Saturday 13/4/2013 that 4 of them were eating a sling each

Panicked a bit and phoned Hendrik, discovered that they needed more moisture!

So advice was to separate them to avoid further losses

So put them in the spice container, one per container and so found out that my geustamet ( hope it was spelt right) was way out now have 200 slings instead of 100 yipeeee!

It shows one you learn every day with the t's

Just thought this was of interest! I am definitely going Hendrik's method of putting the slings in a Ice cream bucket and use the kitchen paper towels for moisture retainer . I have used the organza material and Ice cream bucket with water at the bottom method but does not seem as it works for me!

My opinion , i will see how this pans out with the next batch of eggs that is due soon!

You can even start putting them into deli cups on substrate from eggs with legs.
I find this method is easier to handle them, especially when you have fast spiders and hundreds of them to rehouse.

@Milty, These are by far my favourite species.
Would you be selling any of these as I might be interested. Let me know the price in a PM.
Thanks

Ok, that makes sense. I thought you had seperated them into
smaller groups and was keeping them on the paper towels. :-D

But you are right. when they are bundled up they don't seem allor but when you start packaging is when you get a surpeise.

congratulations on the achivement!!!
