H Incei mating was created by Karin
I have had these for a while - started with 4, 2 disappeared (probably esten by these 2. I then seperated these 2 from the communal set up, and saw that they were a boy and a girl. These are ny neglected kids, but last night I thought I'd throw them together again, and look what happened!

It was so cut ehow he lured her out of the hide. They were busy for a while, and she seemed quite friendly and willing.

This morning they were both snug in the same hide - can I leave them like that? Or will she get irritated and eat him?

There seems to be a lot of differing stories with these spiders. I have never had noticible losses from my incei communals while other people have had serious losses. I would probably take the boy out after a week or so.

You can leave the male in with the female, but it could go both ways.
I would say remove the male.

Once the female has got her egg sack that is when the males get eaten.
