Hi peeps

On Wednesday night i had my MM & MF T Gigas doing the "love dance"(boy"Wonder" & lady "Bella", i had a clear view from the top and side of the enclosure, and can confirm that the male "hit the spot". I was just wondering, seeing that this is my first time breeding with my T's, should i put them together again , or was this one time enough?

I started my T collection about 18 months ago, and currently have 34, of which there are 33 different species.I will post some photos of my "kids" soon.

Thanks to Mrs Ocelot(Tuanette) for selling me the MF, she is beautiful.

Anyone keen on giving me some advise?

It does not hurt to mate the spiders once or 2 more times.
Just need to give the male a break to make a new sperm web and reload.

Keep your female cool over winter, and start heating her up as we get into spring.
Avoid getting her to drop in winter, it is normally a nightmare to keep everything perfect with the power guys fishing for more money, if the blackouts will happen this year?

Summer also gives you better chance of a successful egg sack.

Also make sure you got heating mats, hygrometer, and thermostat ready if she does drop an egg sack.
Also keep feeding her through out, until she stops eating on her own.
