please please please someone tell me what to do. i posted a month ago about Cherry not being able to climb (G.ROSEA) but it looks like it was 1st signs of DKS. she has deteriorated rapicdly over last few days, i have put her in ICU but i need to know if i'm right as i cant watch her suffer. she has constant sporadic leg movements, almost fitting whenever there is a noise or if she touches something. this is awful, would never want to experience this again

Sorry to say, but there is nothing you can do. How far is she from a molt? I have seen T's with DKS molting and then be fine afterwards.
Best thing you can is to place it in an ICU and you already did that.

That is terrible news Tina. So sorry to hear it might be DKS. From what you describe it does sound like DKS. There are no set reason or cause for DKS. Some say its poisoning of some sort and others say its viral or bacterial. Not been proven or dis-proven that other T's in close contact can contract the same symptoms.

All you can do is a ICU Im afraid , Some T's do pull trough but is like a 1 out of a hundred.

To make things worse it could last for months.

Really sorry to hear this. Where are you located one of us might be able to come have a look.

that sounds bad..i hope some 1 can help you.before i joined the site i had n Indian violetthat also had DKS..but it was still small.i was very bad..good luck to you

thats the worse thing she looks incredibly close to molt her abdomen has been bald for a few weeks now and has changed colour. she would not have room to molt in the ICU but i cant watch her in her enclosure fitting about and falling over ive cried alot of tears this morning seeing her like that

If you are very lucky she might pull through the molt and come out 100% on the other side, but dont get your hopes up to high. This could happen, but is very unlikely. Ive only seen it happen once and it was with a small sling.
