I recently got a Scarlet BE, it had something on its abdomen, unfortunately my cousin picked it up and know nothing about T's
I have searched everywhere to establish what is going on, but it looks like someone burnt it with a lighter or something.
Please help!!!!! :spider:

Did you buy it like that?
Is it a male or female?

I think it is a poor molt/wet molt.

Here is one of mine, L. parahybana wet molt

That really doesnt look good at all!!!! I would love to say that it will probably be fine after a molt but looking at that wound I dont know so much... Might end up with complications where the abdomen wont detach properly from the molt unless it heals before then. I have no idea what to suggest. But it is a rather nasty wound to say the least.

What do you mean by "my cousin picked it up"?

@ Onyx, yeah it looks pretty bad, my cousin fetched it from Roodeport, i should have insisted on pictures, however never a good lesson learned. Needless to say i will try find someone who can use it to perhaps breed with so its not a total waste.
I am trying to keep its moisture levels pretty high so it can be less painfull if hat, we will see maybe some TLC is needed.
