Hi all, thought I would share my first serious moulting experience...not me personally  though.

My B.smithi sling (about 2-3cm) had been in pre-moult for about a month and finally decided to moult two days ago sometime in the early hours of the morning. I noticed the process at about 5:30, just before boogying off to work. When I got home in the evening I noticed that the exuvium had become stuck to the abdomen and the sling was not looking happy. All I can say is YAY for the TKG! I checked up what to do and using a teeny amount of glycerine and water on the end of an earbud gently moistened the affected area. And...ta-dah...within a few seconds the exuvium had softened and come off. The sling is doing well and almost seems to have triggered a moulting kick with some of my other T's...had three successful moults in the last two days: my B.albopilosum (about 6cm), C.fasciatum (about 5cm) and my A.geniculata sling (1cm). It is really satisfying to be able to practically apply information gleaned from reading and have it work as it should. I've added a photo of the sling.

Thanks for sharing

I've had this same problem previously with one of my slings ,but did not know what to do ,so I had to just leave the exuvium stuck to the T until it molted again
