Hi guys,

I have a 5-6cm B. smithi that started acting strangely over the past 2 days. Shes not looking so great, thought she might have just been thirsty but that didnt seem to be the problem . Shes half posed into a death curl, but has strange movements like shes shivering, like shes got some sort of nerve damage and can not control the movements in her legs. Her legs are moving just a little, not huge jerks or anything. :blink:

I picked her up and she struggled to walk, and tried her best to stand up, but couldnt. Shes been like this for about 3 days.
Any advice?

I have no idea what the problem could be, but my first guess would be dehydration, but thats
all i can guess. You did say you gave it some water, but but rehouse the little guy and spray the container
with water and make sure the little guy is able to drink if it needs to.

Maybe try and up the humidity aswell, but this is all just taking the simple steps to the problem, theres
not much else you can do.

Did your spider drink some water?
Could also be DKS (dyskinetic syndrome)
Watch the link I attached, this will give you an example of what I'm talking about.
There is other videos you can watch to learn about DKS, some other spiders get really bad.
