hi, I recently got a G.rosea i have had her for five days and i want to be aware of all the illnesses

There are very few thing that actually affect tarantulas and when it come to illnesses there are very little information available. Apart from dyskinetic syndrome which make a tarantula walk very erratically there is nothing else I can think of.

With a G.rosea there really is very little to worry about, they are extremely hardy and basically looks after themselves. As long as there is food and water they should be fine. They can also live in almost any enclosure from very humid to very dry.

Just remember that G.rosea's tend to stop eating from time to time, so that is also nothing to worry about. If the spider is active or moves when you touch it and the abdomen is nice and plump then you are doing fine. With cold weather that spider will move much less on its own, so there is also nothing to worry about.

How big is your spider and do you suspect that anything is wrong or are you merely asking?

on the first she came out for a while and since then she has just stayed in her hide,she is about 8-9 cm long she is only one year old and I was asking because when I got her she was more active maybe she is just tired from the cold weather

I can almost guarantee you that it is because of the cold weather that she is hiding more. She will probably also not eat for the next 3 months, so only try to feed her once a week or once every two weeks. She'll get more active again when summer returns.

Just as Jakes said, there are very few things that affect these little guys, or at least very few things we know about.

I'm no expert but I can tell from what I've seen here and on other forums that most of the issues people have with their T's are environmental. Fungi, humidity, parasites etc.
The best you can do is keep him fed and watered. Keep an eye out for anything out of the ordinary in the enclosure and enjoy the view.

As far as the cold goes, yeah, they definately slow down in the cold and mostly keep under the covers so to speak.

Strangely enough though I have a few... N.chromatus, C.fasciatum and B.emilia who spend most of their days out in the open all of a sudden
