I have a lot of T's that are about to need bigger enclosures but due to my OCD I struggle to make up my mind

Which is best, glass or plastic? I'm still a student, so I'm looking for the cheapest options...

What I found so far is this plastic crates at Plasticland for R90 each. Don't have the dimensions now, but I think it will be big enough for a mature B.Albopilosum.

Other option would be to make my own glass enclosures. This could be worth it because I can decide on the dimensions etc. but might be more expensive?

I'd really like some input! And it'll be nice to see where you guys keep your 10-20+ T's (a.k.a. pictures )

I bought these too.

If you put ventilation holes around the top lip of the bottom tub, you are then able to put the lid on, and stack quite a few on top of each other. They come in sizes that work well for juvies and some mature specimens that don't grow too big.

They are also clear enough so you can see quite well inside, and are quite resilient when it comes to cleaning and maintenance. The clips/handles are very solid and only Spiderman himself might be able to get out of one.

I give these a thumbs up, cheaper than glass, good for stacking lots of T's in small spaces, strong construction and solid lid locking system, nice size options.

Hi.

Well I use both Plastic and Glass.

What I like about plastic containers, all that is required is to make holes, wash it and add substrate and you got a new home for a tarantula.
Also great for stacking.

Where as glass is involved, you have to get it cut, build let it cure, then make a lid get vents and wash and then add substrate. Takes about a week to complete a tank.

But glass is nicer to look at and have as display.

I would also consider plastic containers.won't break like glass,as mentioned you can stack them and this is good for people with lots of T's and limited space.my wife also informed me that glass prices are going up with something like 5%.

I be leave in that One of my females must be is a glass tank as a display tank, any spare spiders and males get moved into plastic containers.

Some plastic containers are just as nice to look like glass, I love walking through plastic shops that sale plastic containers.

And to make holes in plastic is super easy, you can drill it or you melt holes into it with a nail!
