I decided to build my own tanks for my new T room. 10 Tanks holding 6 T's each. The tank is modular and can be made bigger to accommodate larger T's by removing the inner dividers.






After phoning around I got some prices....

Those look really cool can't wait to see how it turns out.

So you would be paying 600 rand for one unit of 6 tanks.
Is that price just for the perspex and for it to be cut?
What will you use to support the inner dividers?

What are the measurements of the unit?

Yes the perspex will be cut to size.

Unit is 25cm x 90cm x 30cm high (lid front) or can stand 30cm x 90cm x 25cm high (lid on top)
Each module is +-15cm wide.
Each module will be held in place by shelf pins on either side of the divider.
Look in your kitchen cupboard under the shelf if you don't know what I'm talking about.

The venting will be cross venting with a 12v PC fan on either end.

Have you tried builders warehouse for perspex prices?

If builders was jacked and could cut to size I my have looked there. I don't go to builders unless I have to.
I must say since wallmart took over their attitude has changed. I guess they no longer have job security. (this gives me an idea )
