I was thinking of keeping a G. rosea in a vertically orientated tank filled with a fine sand. The plan would be to keep the surface dry apart from a light misting once in a while. As the T would still need humidity for when it molts I would try to make a "delivery" system to add a small quantity of water to the base of the tank in order to mimic what I assume to be the way of nature in that the deeper the T burrows the cooler and more humid it would become.
As always I eagerly await your views.
