My first enclosure was created by Bianca
So after stealing some ideas from enclosures I've seen, I decided to try and build my own.
This was the final product.

And I had my first spider related injury as well!

Nice build like it allot. I see you didn't do it alone, I suspect your cat helped. You should sand the glass edges after cutting it to avoid those cuts.

Hmmm...Bianca... I see quite a resemblance in your enclosure...

I wonder where I have seen it before. :P

Very nice.

Some tips. Take a piece of sanding paper and just run it around the edges before gluing it together. I think if I post a pick of my hands after building an enclosure it would be like a horror movie.

And, I have found Piano Hinge works wonders as well, as you can glue a whole strip across the door, and leave a gap behind it for some air to come in. This advice I followed after Cerat pointed something out on my previous design.

I will post some pics of new enclosures I have built that has a rock finish backing in as well, over the weekend.

Nice tanks. Looks a bit dangerous to build. While I have toddlers in the house, I will have to wait before making my own tanks.

I have built about 10 enclosures this last 2 weeks, for orders. And ever since I have used piano hinge it just works...

The doors tend to move less, and you can hide a 5mm gap behind the hinge away. And the air moves through the hinge.
