You can get the glue and hinges from Maizey's plastics as well, but unfortunately they don't keep the latches. You must just make sure that you use enough glue when sticking the panels together. My personal experience is the if they are not "welded" together well enough, they tend to come apart because of the moisture inside the enclosure.

Swifty wrote: Hey guys

I got myself some perspex this vacation so I can build some pokey enclosures. I could not source the latches, hinges or Methylene Chloride? I have sent lunchbox a PM but it seems he has dissipated like a fart in the wind.

Can any of you guys help me out? ...

In North America all we need do is go to one of the larger drug stores/pharmacies in our area and they order it for us. Sometimes it's only an overnight delivery. Other times it takes a week or two.

Also, some of the larger building supplies stores have it in stock or can get it for you. Ask in the paint department and in the department where they sell Perspex sheets.

Best of luck.

Thanks for all the info guys. I got some from MrPlastic.

Now I have another dilemma. When gluing the perspex, How do I ensure that I'm getting a precise right angle? Input from anyone with experience on the matter would be greatly appreciated!

Hardware stores sells some nice 90 degree shelving clamps, you use to build cupboards. I use that to build my glass enclosures. They are about R40 a clamp.

HI Swifty
I made use of the other pieces of the enclosure to ensure I have an 90 degree angle. I clued two sides and while the clue set I place next to another piece to ensure the angle is correct.
