Hi,
for a newby, what is the diff between top and side ventilation, the side ventilation will probably provide better air flow but when is the one prefered over the other ?

I would think that with Arboreal T's its easier to do Side ventilation as you have more space on the sides. and with Terrestrial its easier to do top ventilation. most enclosures i have seen locally and overseas run this type of configuration. just as long as your T gets some fresh air and humidity stays constant it think you would be fine.
