Hi,
any one know where I can buy some of those plastic channeling for making sliding doors for enclosures? the double ones where the glass can slide past each other.
I know of a place but they only have for 6mm glass and I'm looking for 3mm glass.

Hi neil.truter

If don't know if you will be able to get the 3mm channeling you are looking for. I have also only found it for 6mm only.

If this is for the unit you will be building, then you need to go 4mm glass and up, 3mm will be to thin, this is from a safety standard.
Depending on your opening in the front, but 4mm glass is almost the same price as 3mm glass.

But if you go with Milty to build your unit he should be able to supply runners for you.

You can also try Mika, builders warehouse or a place that does cupboards

@knotted tongue, Gelmar does have but they are total width of 20mm with glass thickness of upto 7mm, to big.

@cascade, yes 4mm also fine but this is for small enclosures so 3mm should be OK.

@klippies, builders ripoff, that is way to much, Gelmar asks R35 for 2m for the big one I mentioned above.
