I saw an awesome ornament at cna yesterday, don't know if anyone would be interested... its a plastic human scull of the highest quality plastic i have ever seen, and it only costs R9.95

I'll buy one tomorrow and set it up in a tank, will post some pics to.

The "how the body works" one? I still have the skull from the first time they came out with this skeleton Definitely worth the cash, but it's not worth to keep buying the magazines for the full skeleton, ends up costing over R2000 I think.

I agree ayal. I am subscribed to Real Life Bugs and the total price amounts to over R7000.00 :sick: :igiveup: Will definitely read the fine print next time...

They also smart, they stop supplying the stockist which makes you have to subscribe if you want the full series.
But it is cheaper subscribing than keep buying the books from the shop at the end of the day.


You can cancel your subscription, but they normally charge you a penalty fee, read the fine print it should give you an answer to that.
Once upon a time I did World of Aircraft, that was about 12 years ago and that was a total of R2500.00 for the whole subscription.

Did the real life bugs get interesting as it has gone on?

I think it is worth it, well actually the thing is I am more than 2/3 into the collection, so I might as well keep it up and finish the subscription...The insect/arachnid/anthropod displays will look great against a wall in my T room

That is true, my cousin started with it and the resin blocks are good quality.

With a nice display case mounted on a wall will look awesome in ones house or even make a coffee table out of it.
