I am thinking of building some perspex enclosures for my self , any idea what is used to glue/join the pieces together ?
I've seen some perspex boxes and there appears to be no silicone or glue visable ,

Thanks

Hi Huzi

They are two different products altogether

Acrylic being the less expensive option!

For correction. Perspex is a trademark name used for some acrylics sold in SA. Its all acrylic in the end. There are two diffrent versions of acrylic. One being cast and the other excruded. One is cast in panels, less prone to deflection due to heat and humidity due to the cooling process relieving stresses in the material. the other excruded being cheaper and more prone to the deflection due to its mass production type process
