Hey guys

I would like to know if its safe to feed "Rysmiere (Afrikaans), I think its called a flying ant, to Ts?

"God said it, we believe it, that settles it!!!"

This is why we should never take anything as the final result and set fact, but always be open to possibilities...this is where the adventure of discovery and connection between reality and the fantasy world lie.~ "Henry Howard Jnr"...

I've fed them flying ants I think once, they loved them! Don't know about nutrition or anything but I can imagine they're quite high in protein. just don't leave them in for too long because they have quite a nasty bite, but ye the Ts loved them.

I feed my T,s with them whenever they are flying. They simply go nuts over them, especialy if they still have the wings on and flutter around in the enclosures. Never had a problem up to now. Most people will advise you not to use wild cought food thoug.

Go for it I have done this for two years now without major problems.

Offer them to your T's if they don't take from the tweezers then try the next T. Don't leave the termite in the T tank unless your T is a burrower. Otherwise the Termites will dig in and congregate in one breeding corner. They often die in this corner and rot to mold.

Termites are closely related to cockroaches and I'd say they make excellent feeders... if you want to risk feeding wild-caught animals to your T's, that is.
