Firstly I would like to thank Ruan (Ceratogyrus) for all his help.
I have a beautiful special poecilotheria sp. which was feeding perfectly on B. dubia, she went off on a breeding loan where she was fed crickets (not a complaint, this is cerats feeder of choice and I'm not going to request any different while my T is with him)
I have now discovered that she is off dubia completely but munches crickets like crazy, I do however not keep crickets as a feeder and I would like to wean her off crickets and back onto dubia roaches.
Any help on how to do this would be much appreciated, or perhaps the view is that I should just keep her on crickets until she HOPEFULLY drops and then worry about it?

Many thanks
-P

Lol. :)
Atleast you know its a female spider being so fussy and all. :)

As she is mated, I would probably try keep her on crickets for the moment and try a roach every now and again.
Think an eggcase is "more important" at the moment. :)

I agree. Stick to the crickets. www.herpetology.co.za sells bulk tubs for not a bad price. Have you seen a pregnant female eat? :pinch: . If she is not cleaning out the pantry she will wake you up at night only craving certain food for a long time. The hard part is getting her to loose weight after the birth ;) Mommy knows best. If she enjoys the crickets, then let her at them, she has her own reason.
