Breeding roaches is WAAAYYYY much easier than crickets.
You have yourself a typical cricket container with the vaseline for the climbing species, or without for the non climbing types(DUH).
Egg flats for housing, food supply wich is basicaly the same as cricket food just with a bit more protien.
Water supply, in the form of watergel or whatever you prefer.
a Heat source on one side.
Some added humidity.
And you play them some nice love music.
The rest they know what to do. :silly:

they are very easy to breed/keep... i have the turkistan roaches which cant climb or fly which is ideal LOL....I have a big 120L tub with wire gauze in the lid(people us other methods for vents) ummm egg trays are a must... I dont bother with water dishes or watergel anymore. I just spray a little if it doesnt seem humid enough aaaaand I just soak the veggies and fruit in water before I give it to them...I give mine dog food as well but i dont even bother separating the foods because the bigger roaches just roll the dog balls around hahaha.... and its super simple to collect babies to feed your slings and then over time you have varied sizes to feed your Ts... Echodive showed me pretty much everything I needed to know about keeping roaches and it really is simple....

but do some reading because i reckon if you have really large Ts you gnna need some bigger roaches... I think some people keep a few different species of roach for there different size Ts.... Check on saroachmans site there is lots of info :)

Oh and yeah im in bedfordview

My Signature??? lol
Everything will be okay in the end, if it is not okay... it is not the end :)

I have a few roach colonies, and I am in the PTA area. There is also an in-depth post on breeding/keeping roaches on the feeder post. Just run through some threads and you will see.
