Reminds me of my Eupalaestrus campestratus as well.
The pinkish hairs around the carapace. The stripes on the knees. Mine is female and a bit larger. About 11cm or so.

The Lord's Prayer

Our Father, who art in heaven,
hallowed be thy name.
Thy Kingdom come,
thy will be done,
on earth as it is in heaven
Give us this day our daily bread.
And forgive us our trespasses,
as we forgive those who trespass against us.
And lead us not into temptation,
but deliver us...

The size for your spider is about right, mine after 2 years is 8cm. The term "giant" is misleading as the majority of specimens seldom attain leg spans greater than 12.5cm.
