Did this Supermarket have a name on the enclosure? How big/small is the spider? How do you know it tried to bite you?
Further to Scarab's (very valid!) post: Do you have any sort of camera? Maybe even one built into your cell phone? Can you figure out how to post a photo on this forum? If not, get back to me by visiting

Bottom line: We need vastly more information about your tarantula before we can even come close to making a truly intelligent answer to your question.
But, in the hopes of helping even a little, "
within 2 days" would be pretty much irrelevant except for the fact that it tells us that you're trying to mess with it far too soon. It's a new tarantula being kept in a completely foreign cage under completely alien conditions by a huge, clumsy, smelly, god-like thing that's actually trying to make physical contact with it. Nothing good can come from this, and it's trying to protect itself. Think
alien abduction,
Close Encounters of the Fourth Kind,
rectal probes.
Cut it a little slack. Leave it alone for at least a week (i.e., don't even go near the cage). Don't try to feed it for 10 to 14 days or more (you can wait a month if you really have to). Don't try to touch it until you know exactly what it is.
Get back to us with photos ASAP. Knowledge is bliss. Ignorance will only get you bit!
By the way, just an off-handed question to let us deal with your problem a little more equitably, how old are you? Over or under age 18 years? (You needn't answer if you wish.)
