i there can anyone id this baboon? i found it in my garden in ct. It looks like a mature male his boxing gloves are visible and also the hooks were visible. He is a purplish colour and is 7cm is size. he also had strange spines on his legs.

Whatever it is it looks reeeally cool, I'd like to know what the female looks like.

Looks like he's from the family Dipluridae (funnel-web mygalomorphs)

Doesn't look like Theraphosid, but could be wrong.
Some other Mygalomorph? Don't think there are Diplurids down there.
