Hi Guys,

Please have a look at this T? My mate bought it yesterday from a pet shop and he was told by the owner that it is a C. andersoni (Burmese mustard). Apparently the pet shop owner had to source it for someone but they guy never pitched and that it took him 2 months to source this T.

We can't really find any info on it and it seems to be a rare T. Can anyone of you please help us with this? :spider:

(I'm not a expert as I have not kept them.
So what I'm going on is pictures so at best I'm guessing.)

Anything is possible with the illegal imports that have been going on.
That looks like a C. andersoni but the picture is not very clear.

1. Can you maybe get a clearer picture of the spider??
2. What size is the spider?

But, Chilobrachys huahini have black "socks" on the Telotarsus, the first section of the leg (Foot)
They look identical in color when they are smaller, but when the Chilobrachys huahini gets a bit bigger it gets a grey ish blond color.

I will try get a better picture from my mate. The T is slightly bigger than a R5 coin when the legs are pulled in and together.

I also said that it looks a lot like the C. huahini.

I don't believe anyone would be able to give you a definitive answer.

Have a look at this thread: www.arachnoboards.com/ab/showthread.php?...953d6ff93a58a69ce4d5
The good info starts on page two with Soren, Steve Nunn etc.

That's why I believe you have Chilobrachys sp. For now until they sort out Asian terrestrials. Pet shop selling it as C andersoni means someone lied to them or for the quick bucks.

I'm not impossible. I'm being improbable.
