The photo's top of page 2 seem to confirm the explanation made by Carien about the longitudal line on the legs, but the last few photo's on page 2 don't show that difference. The first one to me are Brockle's and your last photo on the page, IMO must be a Geniculata

Had the very same discussion about 2 years back with my 2 MM.
The thing that's confusing, is the the males stripes changes in final molt aswell. Had pix of that. But laptop were stolen 2 months back.

brocklehursti has a pinkish/purpleish hue on the carapace, while geniculata does not.

Deon you're correct, thats what im saying aswell.. that that last pic on page 2 which was bought as brocklehursti look more like geniculata to me..hehe they are confusing. And fran now you're throwing something completely different/new to me into the mix..

hahaha, yeah, sorry about that, I did alot of of reading on acanths( I really, really like acanths...), and one of the only macroscopically visible differences is the colour sheen on brocklehursti. This particular t looks like a geniculata to me, but often you can't get a good look at the colours of t's fom pics.
