Lets put it this way, yes, all spiders are and can be aggressive even the ones that are promoted to be handled.

He might not be feeling to happy/safe in he's enclosure.

Does he have a water dish?
You can also consider to wet the pet a bit more.
Your peat does not have to be bone dry.

Yes he has a water dish and i make sure is always got water in. I will respray the peat. I havent tried to handle or touch him since i moved him into a new cage. Thanks for the help
