My name is Shane. I've spent most of my life terrified and fascinated by spiders. Lately though, I'm more fascinated than terrified. After a stay at Hoedspruit over Easter, I decided I wanted a T. The wife was not impressed.

Anyway, I took her to the SOS expo on Sunday and it did wonders for her. She is now just as fascinated by them as I am. I bought a Fireleg sling at the expo, and the next day was given a Salmon Pink sling by a friend of a friend - funny how that works... I didn't know anyone with T's, and now that I'm interested in them I've realised that at least 2 people in my circle of friends collect T's.

I can see this is going to become addictive, and I plan to build up a nice collection over the next few years.

I also recently joined the forums here, today actually I myself was and in a way still am terrified of spiders. I usually just squish them but since i got my first T which ended up dying, i've gotten a new appreciation for them.

In 8 months i went from 1 Curly Hair to having 8 T's and a scorpion so trust me, you will be in every pet shop you see that says Spiders or something
