Carly, are you sure it's not a Nhandu chromatus? They are much more common and currently slings of these are available.

You see the confusion that comes with common names - especially when you buy a new tarantula? In the end you won't even know which one you've got :dry:

Well I am going by what it was sold to me as.
AS far as I am aware this spider is called the Brazilian Red and White or Brazilian Red and White Bird Eater is the most common name.

Also read that Lasiodora Cristata is now Nhandu Chromatus. So it's the same thing. Am I wrong?

Nhandu chromatus is formerly known as Lasiodora cristata. So yes, you are correct

I know this T by the common name Brazillian Red and White Birdeater.
