Yeah Squish, Grammies are enthusiastic burrowers, a good way to prevent them from doing this is through the use of ORGANIC garden peatmoss instead of normal peatmoss, only few words of caution: you could have a tad bit of a reluctance on t's end 2 moult! :S

I would say just leave your Ts to burrow its in there nature to do so I dont see the need to stop them .

If you wont to give him a hide put a piece of bark in for him and he will go under it
Or any thing that he can use to hide under just be carfull its not some thing that as been in chemicals or poision ...
