With more and more people buying T.blondi, only to to turn out to be something else, I thought I would make a few guidelines so you don't fork over a grand for a curly

P.S I have nearly three years experience behind me, I may not have many rare T's but I have spent at least 2 and a half years of T research, and I've been a member here longer than a lot of our current members, just saying :drunk: stir whistle2

First of all, have heard of people buying T. blondis at 1st Instar. Don't do this as it is wrong

Here is how the Instar system generally works (varies with authorities but this will do for most SA keepers)

Eggs >>> Eggs-with-legs >>> 1st Instar >>> 2nd Instar and so forth

Now, what if in this case the guy/lady was merely confused about the Instar system?
Well that's understandable then, but then let's move over to size

Now, what size is the "T. blondi" advertised at?
1cm? No way bro, that's wrong!

In general a 2nd or 3rd Instar T. blondi comes out of the sack at roughly 2.5 cm, maybe bigger.

Massive size difference right?

Now we could argue till the cows come home, but I seriously hope that this will help people out when buying T. blondi

It would be awesome of you guys if you could add to this in any way possible, this is meant to benefit the community as a whole, so please, do the right thing and help some noobs

There's a difference between 'doing research' and gaining knowledge from personal experiences and mistakes ...

That was merely there so people don't say "oh, you don't know what you're talking about", especially from all the people who have been in the hobby for less than I have who think they're sooo good. And I do have plenty of practical experience behind me
