Probably one of the most underrated T's out there...So I just want to show some appreciation!

They are truly one of the more beautiful terrestrials available. My female is also the T I would take out with the most confidence if someone wants to hold "a big hairy spider", contrary to their not-handleable, skittish and semi- aggressive reputation...

Funny enough I was talking to a friend with regards to this species.
The Nhandu species is on my top list and the N. colloratovillosus is my Favorite of them.

Here are photo's of my immature male all those years ago.
At the moment I have 3 slings, they have finally molted ans are showing the white leg markings.

Have to agree with you guys, my N.coloratovillosus is still a 4cm sling, but it and the N.chromatus are probably the ultimate aggressive feeders in my collection. They are the only T's that will gobble up more than one feeder at a time, easily handling two or more crickets at a time and eating them into one bolus, as if it was always just one cricket !

They're also not picky about what type of feeder they get, just grab anything that moves and both of them recently molted without doing the hunger strike thing. I love that ! :spider:

I would like to collect Nhandu sp. So if anyone knows where I can get N. Carapoensis and N. Coloratovillosus, I would appreciate if you will let me know.

@Deon: My N. Tripepii is the aggressive feeder. One day I wanted to give him a medium size rouch and two medium size crickets (he was looking a bit thin to me :whistle: ), but whilst trying to get the crickets in his enclosure four jumped out. He ate EVERYTHING!! He could barely hold all of it :silly:
