Are you guys going to be advertizing this on other site and doing on posters or is this just in house and word of mouth ..

Then will there be snakes and other things on auctions ??

It is an auction and so you will not know how much the final price will be.

Also, stuff that you didn't think you would originally buy might go for cheap in bulk...

point is, it is going to be tricky to know how much cash to bring.

Cant we do EFT's from there? or can't we go and draw the cash once we are done buying?

I have a suggestion for the auction:

I've been to some livestock auctions and it's very helpful having a sheet of the animals available for auction before the time. This helps with knowing what's going to be there; what to look out for; and make sure you don't miss anything.

So if it's possible, would you, as co-ordinators, consider having the people who are going to have tarantulas up for auction PM you (before a deadline) with basic info such as:

- tarantula
- size
- sex

and if you can then please create a Word/Excel spreadsheet with all t's available, attach to a post on forum before the auction in order for us to read and print out. This will also help us during the auction to see what's already been auctioned and what's still to come, so that we can budget accordingly.

We could possibly print something and hand out with registration, but I don't think it will be accurate because people will bring whatever they want on the day.

I created this thread for the reason you mentioned.

As scarab said! there will be alot of people comming that we dont know! a friend of
a friend that has a couple Ts! hence the viewing period from 9:00 until 12:30!

As far as eft's go- sorry! this is a cash only! so make sure you bring enough! And
like i said, auction only starts at 12:30 so before then you can view, go out to draw money,
beg, borrow etc..
