I have just learn't a good lesson about how to keep T's happy.I had a particularily magnificent suntiger which i kept in a tall[40 cm] container but it was reasonably narrow probably a about 15 cm.The ST webbed it up and thrived but in my wisdom I decided that such a magnificent specimen deserved a cage of equal magnificence.I transferred it into a stunning natural type set-up and settled back to admire it.The ST never spun another web and even though all other conditions were identical it just faded away.Lesson if it's working don't fiddle. With most critters that are territorial food availibility governs territory size. The more food the smaller the area needed to defend, the less the stress.Indian violets also seem to prefer small tight containers.

What is a suntiger?

Please refrain from using common names to prevent misidentification, and confusion that results from it.

I believe you are referring to Psalmopoeus irminia.
