Let's say i have an OBT so to speak, now the rumor is it is iligal, what now.I will not KILL any T. Could someone explain.

there were many people that had these T's before they were declared illegal, and most of them feel the way you do. Most would not kill a fly let alone a stunning Tarantula they have had in their care for years. It would be nice if someone from the authorities could tell us what is expected of people that still have them. Personally, I feel it would be very cruel not only to the Tarantula, but also to the owner who has done nothing but care for his/her pet, and is now expected to kill/dispose/euthanize it. Sad, but I guess if it's really a serious issue, then what can one do?

Obt's didn't become illegal. They have always been since the early 90's when the law was passed. You shouldn't have had it in the first place to be honest, just like you shouldn't have Ceratogyrus species. Either kill them or try hide them and hope you dont get caught.
No point in moaning to nature conservation. They are just doing their job.

Rayman, I think it's probably easier said than done... I know that if I had an OBT it would be an awful choice to make if I wanted to stay within the law.
