Hi all.

I thought I would share my exceptionally bad luck regarding t’s.

About 3 months ago I bought 4 t’s form a friend of mine that was immigrating to New Zealand.

Now I live in pta and he lived in Krugersdorp. I work in alberton so after work I drove thru to him and got my new t’s. Only paid R1000.(very good friend lol)

These are the ones I got.
0.1.0 G. Rosea @ 12cm
0.1.0 C. Fasciatum @ 8cm
0.0.1 G. Pulchripes @ 4cm
0.0.1 G. Pulcra @5cm

On my way back to pta on the R21 it was raining hard , so I was driving at around 90 to 100 when the car in front of me started to swerve left and right until it flipped over and rolled a few times. I stopped next to the road, phoned the ambulance, and got out to see if I could assist the people.

The woman and her daughter were both unconscious but both had a pulse. As I tried to get them out of the car while trying to keep their heads stil, I heard a screech from behind me.

I turned my head to see what was going on and there was a big truck that had jack-knifed and was heading our way. But as it got closer it started to sway away from us luckily. BUT not so lucky for my car LOL the truck hit my car and well basically drove over her. I loved that car

The paramedics arrived about 5 minutes after that, as they took over the 2 lady’s , I thanked the other guy for coming to help me get them out and..... went to have a look at my car, although it looked more like a very big crushed coke can. And then I remembered my t’s were inside

Unfortunately the car was toast and I couldn’t even see the t’s. Later I got confirmation that they were crushed as the truck went over.

But on the plus side the lady and her daughter are ok. :laugh:

Those are 4 out of the 12 t’s that I have lost in weird and wonderful ways.

I think the worst part was the car. It wat a 1969 alfa romeo gt junior. Bought it a heap of scrap and me and my friends worked on it and fixed her up lol. But because of my age and the age of the car, no one would insure me lol.

But i will build another one, one day. :laugh:
